The Trojans won in comeback fashion on the road tonight against South Central. After finding themselves down 11 at halftime, the Trojans fought back to take a 1 point lead late in the 4th quarter. After surrendering a basket to the Satellites, Emma Pape hit a three pointer from the right wing to go ahead by 2 points with 35 seconds remaining. After a defensive stop, Lauren Davis iced the win with 2 free throws with 8 seconds left.
The Trojans’ balancing scoring attack was led by Emma Pape and Emma Schmidt, each with 12 points. Lauren Davis was a perfect 6 for 6 from the foul line and ended with 10 points. Also scoring in double figures was Nalani Malackowski with 10.
The Trojans (3-0) will open conference play versus Lake Central on Wednesday, November 25.
