Eva Montes Signs With Indiana Northwest for Soccer

Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Eva Montes has signed her commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at Indiana University Northwest, where she will compete in women’s soccer under head coach Jamie McNicholas. Eva has been an outstanding representative of Chesterton High School both on and off the field. As a four-year member of the CHS Girls Soccer Program, she earned numerous distinctions, including: Scholar Athlete all four years DAC All-Conference selection as a junior and senior ISCA All-District Second Team as a junior and senior Academic All-State as a junior and senior Mental Attitude Award recipient her senior season Beyond athletics, Eva has been a strong student leader, maintaining a 4.1 GPA and earning Principal Honor Roll recognition all four years. She is also a dedicated member of the National Honor Society. Her commitment to service is equally impressive. Eva has contributed to the community through: Coaching youth Duneland soccer Working Trojan Soccer Camp Volunteering with MAAC Training Assisting with CHS Class of 2025 Graduation setup At Indiana University Northwest, Eva plans to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene or Radiology, as she continues to excel academically while competing at the collegiate level.
