🏆 CHESTERTON WRESTLING SHINES AT STATE! 🏆 What an unforgettable weekend at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Chesterton Trojans as our wrestlers closed out the season on the biggest stage in Indiana. The energy, the pride, and the support from our community were on full display — and our athletes rose to the moment. ⭐ STATE CHAMPION — MAX QUIROZ (126 lbs) Max capped off an incredible run by winning the IHSAA State Championship with a thrilling 9–7 victory in the finals. The crowd was electric, maroon and gold everywhere, and Max fed off every second of it. From the “Let’s go Max!” chants to his heart-hands celebration afterward, he showed grit, determination, and the spirit of a true champion. What a moment for Max, his coaches, his family, and Trojan Nation! ⭐ 8TH PLACE — LUCAS ANDERSON (190 lbs) A huge shoutout to Lucas Anderson, who battled through one of the toughest brackets in the state to secure an 8th-place medal. Lucas wrestled with heart all weekend and earned his spot on the podium. His work ethic and toughness were on full display, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way he represented Chesterton at State. The future of Chesterton Wrestling is bright, and these two young men have added another chapter to our proud tradition.
