🏀🎓 COLLEGE COMMITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🎓🏀 Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Logan Pokorney has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Taylor University. Logan will compete in boys basketball at the collegiate level. A standout student-athlete, Logan has been a four-year member of the Chesterton boys basketball program, earning varsity experience throughout his career. He has played a key role in the team’s success, helping lead Chesterton to two sectional championships and a DAC Conference title. Individually, Logan has earned All-DAC Conference honors twice and received IBCA Honorable Mention All-State recognition. His performance has also been recognized through selection to the 2025 Fishers Tournament First Team, as well as invitations to the Top 100 Workout and Top 60 Senior Workout showcases. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Logan has excelled in the classroom and in the community. He is a member of the National Honor Society, has been named to the Principal’s Honor Roll, and has maintained an impressive 3.86 GPA. Logan has also been active outside of school, working at Sand Creek Country Club and contributing to local officiating efforts in both volleyball and basketball. Logan plans to pursue a degree in Management at Taylor University, where he will continue to grow both academically and athletically under the direction of Head Coach Austin Peters. Logan’s dedication, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the Chesterton High School basketball program. His coaches and school administrators are confident he will continue to succeed at the collegiate level.
