The Chesterton golf team returned home to Sand Creek on Thursday, but came up short with a score of 179 against Lake Central (165) while beating Merrillville (257). Once again, Jake Bobin led the field shooting an even par 36. Bobin had two birdies on his afternoon. Three freshmen rounded out the varsity scoring. Miles Mulcahy shot a 44, Liam Henley shot a 49, and Zac Racette shot a 50. On the JV side, the team was led by Tyler Racette with a 44. Massimo Popa shot a 45. Mace Redman came in at 48, while Dylan Duffy and Owen Sartin shot 50 each.
