Coach Steve Kearney, Class of 1966 Mr. Kearney coached decades of girls and boys cross country athletes to success in state meets with an upbeat approach and two words of encouragement delivered with a smile: “Stride On!” His girls track teams finished in the top 10 in the state five years in a row (2002-06) and he coached three 4x800 relay teams that won state championships with times that set state records.
