David Osborn, Class of 2010 As a senior, led Chesterton to a runner-up team finish at the state cross country meet where he finished fourth and was named the state’s Mental Attitude Award winner. All-state for three years (19th as a sophomore, 21st as a junior). His 15:12 at the Artesian Classic in Martinsville in 2009 remains the fastest time this century for a Trojan. In his final 3200-meter race of high school he broke Steve Wynder’s 41-year-old school record with a 9:16.05 to finish eighth at state. Ran cross country and track for four years at Oklahoma State.
