Rich Raffin, Class of 1979 Football MVP in 1978 when he averaged 29 yards per kickoff return, including a school record 98-yard TD, 19 yards per punt return, 21 yards per reception and was second-leading tackler. Led DAC in scoring, including 4 TDs in first-half of win over defending state champion Portage. Mental Attitude Award winner in the North-South All-Star Game. Ran track only as a senior year and tied the 100-yard dash school record (10.0). As a junior at Northwestern, was the leading tackler and team MVP. Rich and Cecile have 13 children, all CHS athletes.
