MEET DAY is here! Our Boys Cross Country team is set to compete at the Rudy Skorupa Invite this morning at Lake Central High School. The race begins at 9:00 AM CDT. Come out and support our Trojans as they strive for greatness on the course! ONWARD TROJANS! Lake Central Admin Information: The 2026 Rudy Skorupa Invitational Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country Meet will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Clark Middle School. Please find the information below that will be helpful to you. Race Times: Varsity Girls 9:00 AM Varsity Boys 9:30 AM Reserve Girls 10:00 AM Reserve Boys 10:30 AM We will not begin a race ahead of schedule except in the case of inclement weather. In this case, all coaches will be notified of the change. T-Shirts: There will be Rudy Skorupa Invitational T-shirts for sale for $20 on the day of the meet. The shirts are GREEN this year! Location: Due to the severe damage to our Cross Country Course, we will be moving venues for this year’s Rudy Skorupa Invitational. The new location will be at Hal E. Clark Middle School located at 8915 W 93rd Ave, St John, IN Course: See attached map Restrooms: The concession stand at the soccer field will be our closest restrooms Admission: None. This year. Trainer: Lake Central Athletic Trainers, along with EMS and ambulance, will be available, if needed. Finish: We will be using T&H Timing this year. That’s right, we hired the professionals. The timing system utilized RFID chips in the race number, so PLEASE do not allow athletes to approach the finish line with their numbers if that are not in the race that is being run at the time! Awards: The top three (3) runners in each varsity race will receive special awards. Ribbons will be presented the 4-15 finishers in each of the Varsity races and to the top ten finishers in each of the reserve races. A trophy and ribbons will be awarded to the top team in each of the Varsity races and team ribbons will be awarded to the second and third place teams in each varsity race
