Varsity vs Crown Point High School (6 - 40) Loss The Lady Trojan Flag Football team dropped their season opener 40-6 in a bruising, physical contest at Crown Point on Tuesday. Senior Izzy Harvey completed 8 of 18 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown. Matilda Pagels led the Trojans with 28 rushing yards, while Harper Russell chipped in 13. Sophomore Lexi Gano led the receivers with 3 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown. Matilda Pagels had 3 catches for 21 yards and Taylor Mayle had 2 catches for 13 yards. Defensively, sophomore Natalie Hargarten led the team with 3 flag pulls and a pass deflection. Senior Mady Clark grabbed 2 flags and deflected a pass. Annebell Haas, Aubrey Lorenz and Lexi Gano also contributed flag pulls.
