The Lady Trojans dropped to 0-3 on the season in their second straight game that was decided in the final seconds. After falling behind 7-0 early, a 38 yard Bella James run set the Trojans up for a chip-shot touchdown pass from Izzy Harvey to Lexi Gano, tying the game at 7. Annebell Haas returned an interception for a touchdown putting the Trojans briefly in the lead. LaPorte would claw their way back and even the score 14-14. With time winding down on their final drive, LaPorte connected on a deep pass putting the Slicers up 20-14 with just 2 seconds left, which ultimately sealed the victory. Bella James, Harper Russell and Matilda Pagels combined for over 100 yards on the ground. Taylor Mayle lead the receivers with 4 catches for 52 yards. Senior defensive tandem of Mady Clark and Annebell Haas both lead the defense with 6 flag pulls each. Maddy Vickers also contributed a clutch interception late in the game.
