The Chesterton Lady Trojans went on the road Wednesday to face a Lake Central team that entered the game with only one loss on the season. The Trojans offense managed their second highest point total, and the second highest score of any team against the very stout Lake Central defense this season, however they were unable to contain the Indian’s offensive firepower, ultimately falling 50-27. Izzy Harvey threw for a career high 281 passing yards, and found the end zone four times. Harper Russell carried nine times for sixty-five yards, caught two passes for twenty yards and converted an extra point. Lexi Gano led the receivers with seven catches, seventy-one yards and grabbed her tenth receiving touchdown of the season, while also pulling three flags, breaking up two passes and snagging an interception on defense. Taylor Mayle caught six passes for forty-four yards to go with her two touchdowns. Annebell Haas caught six passes for eighty-three yards and caught a touchdown, while contributing four flag pulls and a pass breakup on defense.
