Wolf Lutterman Commits to Carthage College for Swimming Chesterton, IN — Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Wolf Lutterman has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Carthage College, where he will compete as a member of the swimming program. Lutterman, a dedicated member of the Chesterton Boys Swim & Dive team, has demonstrated outstanding commitment both in the pool and in the classroom. He plans to pursue a degree in mathematics while competing at the collegiate level. During his time at Chesterton, Lutterman has been actively involved in both athletics and academics. He is a member of the Duneland Swim Club and has made a significant impact on the Chesterton swim program. Over his career, he earned Freshman Most Improved honors and was recognized as the team’s Hardest Trainer during his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. As a senior, he was selected as team captain, highlighting his leadership and dedication. In addition to his success in swimming, Lutterman has been heavily involved in academic extracurriculars. He has competed as a member of the Academic Bowl team, participating on the History team during his sophomore through senior years and on the Math team as a senior. He is also an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate, demonstrating his commitment to academic rigor and excellence. At Carthage College, he will compete under the guidance of Head Coach Quinton Maydaniuk and join a program known for its strong competitive tradition and academic focus. Wolf’s leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence make him an outstanding representative of Chesterton High School. The school community is incredibly proud of his accomplishments and excited to see him continue to grow and succeed at the next level.
