Softball beat Valpo in a close game with the score of 5-3. Cherep was on the mound for the Trojans pitching all 7 innings and getting the W. Defensively, the girls played a great game. Kaydence Ford came up with some big catches in center. Offensively, this girls hit the ball hard. Lexi Smith went 3 for 4, Lila Miller went 2 for 4 and Hannah Florian came up big with a 3 run homer to take the lead in the 6th. The Trojans are back in action on Monday against Munster.
