The Ray family John Ray, Class of 1968, was all-conference for Chesterton in football (five interceptions in one game), basketball and baseball, and he and wife Glenda raised their four children in such a way that resulted in all of them loving sports and excelling in competition for Chesterton and as coaches throughout Indiana. Melissa (’90), Tim (’92), Amanda (’95) and Annie (2000) all earned all-conference in at least one sport.
