🎉 Congratulations to Debbie Gadd! 🎉 Chesterton High School proudly welcomes Debbie Gadd into our Hall of Fame! Debbie made history as the first female to earn a college athletic scholarship from Chesterton (Indiana State, Field Hockey – 1976). A two-time MVP in field hockey, Debbie also excelled on the basketball court—becoming the first freshman to play varsity, earning MVP and All-DAC honors, and setting records for most rebounds in a game (21), season scoring average (15.0), and season rebounds (161). At Indiana State, she continued to shine—earning team MVP honors in both field hockey and softball, while also playing basketball.
