Join Us for Hall of Fame Weekend! 🏆 Chesterton Athletics is excited to welcome alumni, families, friends, and Trojan supporters back to campus for one of our most cherished traditions—Hall of Fame Weekend—as we celebrate the Chesterton Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026! This special weekend is an opportunity to honor the outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, and families whose achievements, leadership, and dedication have helped shape the proud tradition of Chesterton Athletics. Whether you're reconnecting with former teammates, celebrating a loved one, or simply honoring our rich athletic history, we invite the entire Trojan community to join us for an unforgettable weekend. 🏈 Friday, August 21 Kick off Hall of Fame Weekend at Chesterton High School as the Trojans take on Hammond Morton. 🏈 7:00 PM – Chesterton vs. Hammond Morton Football Game 🏆 Halftime – Recognition of the Chesterton Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Help us welcome this exceptional class as they are introduced before the Trojan faithful during one of the most anticipated nights of the football season. 🥂 Saturday, August 22 Continue the celebration at the Chesterton Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Sand Creek Country Club. 🍸 4:30 PM – Cocktail Hour 🍽️ 5:30 PM – Dinner 🏆 6:30 PM – Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 🎟️ Reserve Your Seat Today! You can view Tom's articles on the website https://www.onwardtrojans.com/ 🏆 Chesterton Athletics Hall of Fame – Class of 2026 🏊 Christy Grcevich – State Champion swimmer, standout multi-sport athlete in swimming, volleyball, and track & field, Academic All-American, and one of the most accomplished female athletes in Chesterton history. 🏃 David Osborn – Three-time Cross Country All-State selection, New Prairie Semi-State Champion, IHSAA Mental Attitude Award recipient, NCAA Division I student-athlete, and All-Big 12 performer. 🏀 Bob Dille – One of Chesterton's earliest athletic legends, earning 11 varsity letters across basketball, baseball, and cross country. He became an All-American and collegiate scoring champion at Valparaiso University, played professionally in the BAA, and later enjoyed a Hall of Fame coaching career that included leading Fort Wayne Northrop to the 1974 Indiana State Championship. Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. 🏈 Rich Raffin – Legendary multi-sport athlete in football and track, Indiana Football Hall of Fame inductee, and part of a lasting Trojan family legacy. 🏈 Rick Fulton – All-State football player, state runner-up in the shot put, collegiate and professional football standout, and Indiana Football Hall of Fame member. 🏊 Tyler Fozkos – Multiple-time IHSAA State Champion swimmer, member of a state-record relay team, NCAA Division I swimmer at Florida State University, and Indiana High School Swimming & Diving Hall of Fame inductee. 🏃 Steve Kearney – Former Trojan student-athlete, educator, and legendary cross country and track coach whose leadership and dedication influenced generations of Chesterton student-athletes. 🤼 Jim Popp – Chesterton Wrestling's first-ever IHSAA State Champion and one of the foundational figures in Trojan wrestling history. 🏃 Katey Parsons – IHSAA State Champion in the 800 meters and one of the most accomplished distance runners in school history. ❤️💛 The Ray Family – A remarkable multi-generational Chesterton Athletics family whose legacy spans competition, coaching, education, mentorship, and community leadership. Beginning with John Ray's outstanding basketball career, continuing through Tim and Missy Ray's lasting contributions to Trojan Athletics, and carried forward today by Annie, Maggie, and TJ Ray, the Ray family exemplifies generations of commitment, excellence, service, and unwavering Trojan pride. Congratulations to the Chesterton Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026! Your accomplishments have helped define the tradition of excellence that makes Chesterton Athletics so special, and your legacy will continue to inspire future generations of Trojans.
